To achieve this, Marcy offers a guarantee that is unparalleled in the industry:

When the cause of the pull is believed to be faulty Marcy Moulding Retention Tape, Marcy will pay up to $150 per vehicle under the following conditions:

  • The car has not been repainted.

  • The car is not older than seven (7) years from the current model year (2003) ie., the car is no older than a 1997 model year.

We will process up to two paint-pull payments within a six month period per installation shop when the following is provided to Marcy:

  • Strip of Marcy Moulding Retention Tape showing pulled paint.

  • Pull-out paper core from roll of tape.

  • Completed and signed Payment Request Form.

Important: Claims should be made by completing Marcy’s Paint-Pull Payment Request Form and mailing it (along with sample of tape and core) directly to Marcy’s Customer Service Department.

If the installer needs any assistance making the claim it should be facilitated by the wholesaler who supplied the installer with Marcy moulding retention tape. If questions remain, Marcy should be contacted directly for clarification. The wholesaler, in consultation with the installer, has the discretion of deciding who the reimbursement check should be made payable to and to where it should be sent. This information is to be provided on the Payment Request Form.
